Approach
Challenging relationship and family dynamics can throw our universe out of balance. Setting boundaries with others allows us to live with greater intentionality, as we become more in touch with the power to choose with whom and how we engage. Defining your boundaries begins with strengthening your sense of self, empowering you to firm up when others are poking at you.
Each of us has a rich internal world. Some of us, for one reason or another, have been required to dampen our connection to this place. My relational approach to therapy will guide you in reopening access to this part of yourself, as you develop the language to articulate your internal knowing.
I strive to operate with care, curiosity, and humor. Your experiences and challenges have been informed by the nuances of your identity and context. If you have felt that you have had to hide your authentic self in order to function within your family or broader systems, I am here to help.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

I am fully vaccinated and only meeting in-person with fully vaccinated clients. To obtain services in person, you agree to take certain precautions, which will help keep everyone (you, me, and our families, and other patients) safer from exposure, sickness and possible death. If you do not adhere to these safeguards, it may result in our starting / returning to a telehealth arrangement.
My practice has taken steps to reduce the risk of spreading the coronavirus within the office. Please let me know if you have questions about these efforts.
If you show up for an appointment and are symptomatic, or believe you have been exposed, I will require you to leave the office immediately. We can follow up with services by telehealth as appropriate.
If I test positive for the coronavirus, I will notify you so that you can take appropriate precautions.
